On August 27, 2006, my dear friend and a member of the previous site, Black_Reign, was killed in a motorbike accident. He hit something in the road, and was killed when his neck was snapped on impact with a lamp post.

He was one of my closest friends, and I miss him dearly. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend his funeral, because I wasn't aware that he was dead (actually, on some level I think I really did know and didn't want to find out that I was right, so did not call when he broke our coffee date, which he NEVER did). Nobody could get hold of me because his cell phone was off and nobody knew the PIN to turn it on and get my number Sad

I keep expecting to see some sign from him that he's okay, and regret not letting him know how important he was to me, while he was still alive. I can only hope that he knew...

Maybe he didnt want you to know about the funeral... he wanted you to remember him the way he was.

Radarr, thanks for your kind words, as always.

Paulette, I hadn't thought of it that way... he might actually find it amusing that I said what I said two weeks before... but I know he'd not be happy about me being upset about it Sad
