Something Wicked

Something Wicked is the first horror magazine in South Africa. This is a big deal for South African horror writers, because most South African publishers will promptly file your manuscript in "File 13" (the bin) when they see that it's horror, no matter how well it may be written. We are moving up in the world!

I submitted one of my stories to them, and am waiting for them to accept or reject it *gnaws wrists to bloody stumps*

Oh, and I met the publisher in person on Friday, 13th October Very Happy

Hahaha David, yes you know what makes me smile... Bugger!!! Razz

You can order a copy off their website, www.somethingwicked.co.za - just look for "back issues" - my story is titled "Mantis" and is in issue 2.

You can also view the first few paragraphs to that story if you click on my author name (Vanessa).

I could post it here, too, but if you really wanted an autographed copy, you could always join the site and send Joe, the editor, a message, telling him that you'd like to order a copy but that you want it autographed by me - he may or may not be prepared to come find me to get me to sign it before he sends it to you! He has to come to me anyway at some point because I have a computer game that he wants! At any rate, it can't hurt to ask ;-)

Oh, and if you miss chatting, then either come on here more often or bloody-well e-mail me !!!!!
